Summer Day Camps

 

Welcome to the Harrisburg Area YMCA Outdoor Center website.

This site is for all West Shore YMCA Summer Day Camps

Registration is a snap
Pick up registration forms at West Shore YMCA at
410 Fallowfield Road, Camp Hill OR Select "Forms Required" link to the left to download.


1. To register − only fully completed forms will be accepted. Registration
begins and will be held on March 5th

at the West Shore YMCA from 10am to 12pm;
then weekly M-F 9am - 4pm. All registrations are on a first-come,
first serve basis.


2. Deposits and Registration Fees − required at time of registration. $50 non-member registration fee (not applicable to YMCA facility
members). $30 deposit per week per child. Session deposits are
non-transferable and non-refundable.


3. Camp Fees − Weekly fees are due one week prior to attending camp.
Weekly fees are camp fee minus deposit for week. You will be charged for
all REGISTERED WEEKS unless a 2 week written notice is given to the child
care office. ALL deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable. It is important that all fees are received one week prior to attending so that we can assure your child a space.

 

Click on the "Forms Required" tab  to download and print the information from this website or visit the front desk at the West Shore Branch YMCA.  If you wish to register for summer day camp, you must complete the registration forms and bring them to the West Shore YMCA branch office. 

Registrations will be accepted beginning

Saturday, March 5th at the West Shore YMCA from 10am to 12 pm

AND

accepted Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. after March 5th

 

*** Note Regarding Swimming - Our goal is that each of our all day camps have swimming 2 times a week.  At least 1 of those days will be at our Camp Hill or Dillsburg locations.  We are working to line up various outdoor facilities for the second day of swimming.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

A confidential scholarship fund is available to help subsidize membership and/or program fees for those who demonstrate financial need.  The ability of the YMCA to respond to such requests is dependent on the success of fund raising projects including the Annual Support Campaign, operating finances and specific program costs.  All applications must include two proofs of income.
